The News item element is well suited for creating short messages such as news, event notes and appointments, which can then be presented in an overflow container with a rotation or page by page, for example. However, the element can also be used in all other containers when it is necessary to combine text and image compactly in one element.

Date

The Date option allows you to add a date to the message entry and display it in different formats and languages. In overflow containers, you can optionally sort by this date to ensure a chronological order. The configuration of the display is identical to the options of the time/date element.

Headline and Text

In the Title option you can enter a title for the message entry and customize its appearance according to your preferences. In the Text option, you can enter and customize the associated text. A table function is also available. When using the text editor, you can call up or execute further text functions (e.g. copy and paste) by right-clicking and using standard key combinations. The formatting options for the texts are the same as in the text element.

Image

In the Image option you can insert an image into the message entry and adjust it to your liking in image property, position, size and orientation. The options are identical to the options of the image element.
